UPDATE ON SAVING DEER PARK PRAIRIE {FORMERLY KNOWN AS COLLEGE PARK PRAIRIE}

As of 2013, Bayou Land Conservancy is the lead non-profit in fundraising for the Deer Park Prairie Project.

With the assistance of a consortium of organizations including: Katy Prairie ConservancyNative Plant Society of Texas - Houston Chapter, Native Prairie Association of Texas, The Nature Conservancy of Texas, the Houston Orchid Society, as well as other supporting local and statewide conservation groups, Bayou Land Conservancy is organizing the plan for the property’s potential preservation, future educational uses and the needed funds to make the project a reality.
